Anouk Platenkamp

An album with 20 tracks, all Dutch folk music, arranged by Anouk. She was inspired by the collections ‘Oude en Nieuwe Hollantse Boerenlieties en Contredansen’ (ca. 1700) (transl. Old and New Dutch Farmer songs and Contredances) and ‘Kun je nog zingen, zing dan mee’ (1906) (transl. If you can still sing, sing along), as well as accordeon player Bert Aalbers (‘Het Paard van Marken’ transl. The Horse of Marken) and violinist Jos Koning. She also wrote some new tunes.
